USB Driver
(Windows 98/98SE)
If Windows 98/98SE is used, install the USB driver (software for operating the digital
camera through a PC) before connecting the digital camera to the PC.
• This installation is not required after the first connection.
Cautions for Use
• Please do not disconnect the USB connection cable when Software (supplied) is in use.
The software may not function correctly and damage the data being transmitted.
• When the access indication of the digital camera is lit or flashing, please do not
disconnect the USB connection cable. The software may not function correctly and
damage the data being transmitted. Please refer to the digital camera operating
instructions.
• If you connect the battery charger/AC adaptor (supplied) using the DC cable (optional)
so that you can power the digital camera when using the supplied software, we
recommend connecting it to an electrical outlet. If the battery is disconnected during data
transmission, there will be the risk of damage to the data being transmitted.
