2.1.4.3 Print Position Misalignment
(1) Horizontal(Meandering)
Horizontal misalignment due to repetition:
A = ±1.0 mm
To determine the reference value for A,
make a print test 10 times or more using
the specified label or tag, and adjust the
print position using the average value of
the variations to the programmed print
position.
(2) Vertical (Feed Direction)
Vertical misalignment due to repetition: B
B = ±1.0 mm
To determine the reference value for B,
make a print test 10 times or more using
the specified label or tag, and adjust the
print position using the average value of
the variations to the programmed print
position. B has a ±3% variation to the
programmed value.
Precaution for Preprinting
Preprinting should be performed in the area at least 1.5 mm from the printing area, taking the print
position variation into consideration.
