On C2 units with audio inputs, the inputs are not balanced, and at the time of writing
TV One do not supply audio leads to convert between balanced and unbalanced
connectors, however the following wiring diagram shows how this can be done.
The negative outputs should be connected to ground and the left and right signals
are taken from the positive outputs.
An alternative to this system is to use the S2-106AD audio switcher, which offers five
balanced inputs and a balanced output, so you can take your switcher audio outputs
into the S2-106AD and use its output as your system output, whilst maintaining a
fully balanced system.
The following diagram illustrates an example of this arrangement:
Once all audio leads, video leads and OPTION cables have been connected, you will
need to assign the correct audio inputs to video sources in the C2 unit for the audio
to automatically switch with the correct video sources.
