    The electric motor has been designed for 230 - 240V only. Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate. Note: The supply of 230V and 240V on Ozito tools are interchangeable for Australia and New Zealand.

The term “Power Tool” in all of the warnings listed below refers to your mains operated (corded) power tool or battery operated (cordless) power tool.   • Page 7 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPADE HANDLE DRILLS Before drilling into walls, ceilings etc, ensure there are no concealed power cables or pipes in the cavity. Always use the side or spade handle, this gives you greater control should an accessory become jammed. Keep the cord clear of the accessory being used, do not wrap the cord around your arm or wrist.

    OPERATION Warning! Always turn off the tool and disconnect from the power supply prior to change any accessories or making any handle adjustments. Side Handle The side handle will provide additional control, support and guidance when using the tool. The side handle can be assembled to the left, top or right side of the metal gear casing.
  • Page 9 This feature is intended for use when the drill has been mounted in a drill stand or otherwise firmly held, not by hand (drill stand not manufactured by Ozito). Avoid locking the switch 'ON' when drilling by hand so that you can always instantly release the trigger should the bit bind in the hole.
  • Page 10 OPERATION (cont.) Variable Speed Dial The trigger switch has a variable speed dial. By rotating the dial you are able to limit the maximum speed of the drill. See the dial for the direction of which to rotate for higher or lower speeds. Forward/Reverse Lever The direction of the chuck is controlled by the forward/reverse lever located above the switch.
