Troubleshooting for TOSHIBA IP Phone for
Pocket PC
Cannot access Gphone Buddy Service
Refer to "Troubleshooting for Wi-Fi" on page 205 for more information
about connecting to the Internet.
No network adapter
Make sure the wireless communication switch is turned on.
Communication Error
Confirm your network configuration, such as IP address setting.
Authentication Error
Check if you set your G-Number and password properly.
Cannot see your buddy list
Make sure you connect Gphone Buddy Server. If you log on to it properly,
your state (Online, Offline, Busy, or Away) is displayed.
Cannot call an IP phone by using Gphone Buddy Service
Confirm you access Gphone Buddy Server. If you log on to it properly,
your state (Online, Offline, Busy, or Away) is displayed. Check your party's
state is not offline.
You cannot hear your party's voice
Check speaker volume on your Toshiba Pocket PC e830.
Your party cannot hear your voice
Check microphone volume on your Toshiba Pocket PC e830.
Make sure muting microphone is not activated by Voice and MIC mute.
