Turning off/on a wireless LAN connection
If you want to turn off/on the wireless LAN, tap the arrows icon on the navi-
gation bar and launch the Connectivity window. If you tap the Turn off/on
flight mode link, you can turn off/on the wireless LAN module.
Traffic Monitor Utility (TMU) also supplies the wireless LAN power off/on
module. If you want to turn off or turn on the wireless LAN, tap the TMU
icon and launch the Wireless LAN window. If you tap the Turn radio off/
on link, you can turn off or turn on the wireless LAN module. For more
information about TMU, see "Monitoring through the Traffic Monitoring
Utility (TMU)" on page 122.
The Wireless Control utility also turns off/on a wireless LAN module. To
launch Wireless Control, tap Start, Settings, System tab, then Wireless
Control.
Selecting a preferred network
TMU shows a Preferred network list where you can change wireless net-
work connections from this preferred list. If you want to connect to wireless
LAN network, you have to make a network setting and store to the preferred
network list. See "Configuring a Wireless LAN" on page 119 to set up a
wireless network.
