To use the self-cleaning feature on the GE J2S968 series:
1. Choose the clean time based on how dirty the oven is:
- Use number pads to set a time between 3 and 5 hours.
- A 4-hour cycle is recommended for dirtier ovens.
2. If you want to delay the start:
- Touch the DELAY START pad.
- Use number pads to enter the time of day for the cleaning to start.
- Touch the START pad.
3. During the cycle:
- The oven door locks automatically.
- The LOCKED light will turn off when the cycle is complete and the door can be opened.
