Removing/Installing the Motor Release Lever

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 12.3.
NOTE: Reverse this procedure to install the motor release lever.
1. Remove the side shroud. Refer to Removing/Installing the Side Shrouds on page 88.
2. Remove the cap (not shown) from the motor release lever.
3. Remove the cotter pin, washer and mounting pin securing the motor lock to the motor
release lever. Set cotter pin and mounting pin aside (Detail "A").
4. Grasp the motor release lever by the end that attaches to the motor lock.
5. Pull the motor release lever through the lever support on the inside of the walking
beam (Detail "B").
