After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may occur.
Removing/Installing Tilt Release Lever from Stroller
Handle
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 8.1.

Removing

1. Cut tie-wrap that secures the cable to the back cane (Detail "A" of FIGURE 8.1).
2. Remove the mounting screw and locknut that secures the tilt release lever to the
stroller handle.
NOTE: The tilt release cable is still connected to the tilt cylinder.

Installing

1. Secure the tilt release lever to the stroller handle with the existing mounting screw and
locknut.
2. Secure the cable to the wheelchair frame with tie wrap (Detail "A" of FIGURE 8.1).
3. Adjust the tilt release cable, if necessary. Refer to Adjusting the Cable Assembly on
page 55.
