Deactivating the ring tone

You can deactivate your ring tone if you do not want to
be disturbed by your phone ringing.
Deactivating the ring tone using the keypad

Hold down the key until the "Ringer off" icon appears on
the status bar on the display (
The ring tone is deactivated.

To switch the function back on, hold down the key until
the "Ringer off" icon disappears from the status bar on
the display.
You can also switch the function on and off using the op-
tion in the idle menu.
Select and confirm the option shown.

sensor key
Prerequisite: The "Ringer off" sensor key must be pro-
grammed (

Press the "Ringer off" programmable sensor key.
An incoming call is signaled by a single ring tone burst.

The programmable sensor key blinks.

Press the lit programmable sensor key once more to de-
activate the "Ringer off" function.
