Troubleshooting & Frequently Asked Questions
What is the factory default HDMI mode for this device?
As shipped from the factory, this device is configured to output HDMI 1.2
signals at 1080p to all outputs.
When to I need to change the factory default HDMI mode?
If you have both an HDMI 1.3 compatible source (Blu-ray® player, Sony
Playstation 3®, etc.) as well as an HDMI 1.3 television capable of Deep Color
support, you will need to change the HDMI mode of the device to support the
newer HDMI 1.3 feature.
How do I switch the device to HDMI 1.3 mode?
To switch the matrix to HDMI 1.3 mode, please perform the following steps:
1. Power on the DIGI-HDMI-4X2 matrix.
2. Disconnect the input sources from the DIGI-HDMI-4X2.
3. Connect the output destinations to the DIGI-HDMI-4X2 using high-quality
HDMI cables. Disconnect any twisted pair extenders.
Note: In order to switch to HDMI 1.3 mode, destinations must be
connected to the matrix with HDMI cables. The matrix will not toggle
HDMI 1.3 mode when twisted pair extenders are connected.
4. Simultaneously press and hold the Output 1 Source Select and Keylock
buttons for five seconds. The front panel source select LEDs will illuminate
and flash during mode transition.
5. After the LEDs cease flashing, release the Output 1 Source Select and
