• Is the connection of cable properly made to the printer unit connector DCOUT2?

• Does the fuse get burnt when powered on with the CN2 and the CN6 of the PMA board
disconnected?
No Yes
• Which of F1 or F2 is the burnt fuse?

• Is there any short circuit between 5pin and 4pin, or/and 1pin and 2pin of HTA1 on the
PDA board?
No
• Replace the PMA board.
• Does the fuse get burnt when powered on with the CN2 on the PMA board disconnected?
No Yes
• Is any of the cables for the bail, path change and LF motor, and the connection cable
between PMA and PHA board damaged?
No
• Replace the PHA board.
• Is any of the cables for the ribbon, space and autogap, and the connection cable between PMA
and PRA board damaged?
No Yes
• Replace the damaged cable
• Replace the PRA board.
