• Check that the cover open switch can normally switch on and off with manufacturing aid function.
• Can it switch on and off normally?

• Is the connection of cables to the CN1 and the CN4 on the PRA board properly made?
Yes
• Can the printer recover after the cover open switch/ribbon rotation sensor cable is
replaced?
No
• Can the printer recover after the cable between the CN1 on the PRA board and the CN2
on the PMA board is replaced?
No
• Can the printer recover after the PMA board is repleaced?
No
• Replace the PRA board.
• Is the claw of the access cover broken?
No Yes
• Replace the access cover.
• Has the interlock lever been properly installed?
Yes No
• Reinstall the interlock lever.
• Recheck the installation of the cover open switch.
