• Replace the power supply unit.
• Can the printer be powered on and off when the CN2 and the CN6 of the PMA board, and the CN5
of the PDA board is disconnected?

• Is there any short circuit between 5pin and 4pin, or/and 1pin and 2pin of HTA1 on the
PDA board?

• Replace the PMA board.
• Can the printer be powered on and off when the CN2 and the CN6 of the PMA board is
disconnected?

• Is the printer recovered by replacing the print head?
No
• Change the head cable.
• Can the printer be powered on and off when the CN2 of the PMA board and the CN5 of the PDA
board is disconnected?

• Check that the cables for the bail, path change and LF motor, and cables connected to
the PMA board and PHA board are not damaged.

• Replace the PHA board.
• Is there any damaged part on the cables for ribbon, space, autogap motor and cables connected
