connection once it has already failed over to another one.

After you finish the settings, click "Apply" (9) and the following

Input the idle time for detecting the Internet
connection. If the major Internet connection is
idle for this amount of time, then the router will
send a ping to the target IP address you have
assigned. If the ping gets a reply, the router will
restart the idle timer; otherwise, it will fail over to
the second-priority WAN connection.
If the major Internet connection is idle for too
long, the router will attempt to ping the target IP
address.
If you enable the E-Mail Notification function,
when the WAN connection fails the router will
automatically attempt to connect to the second-
priority WAN connection and mail a notification
to you.
