The analog input section of each PCI E Series board is software
configurable. You can select different analog input configurations
through application software designed to control the PCI E Series
boards. The following sections describe in detail each of the analog
input categories.
The PCI E Series boards have three different input modes—
nonreferenced single-ended (NRSE) input, referenced single-ended
(RSE) input, and differential (DIFF) input. The single-ended input
configurations provide up to 16 channels (64 channels on the
PCI-6031E, PCI-6033E, and PCI-6071E). The DIFF input
