Configuring the CK31 for Your Network

The CK31 is a versatile handheld computer that you can easily
add to your wired or wireless data collection network. You can
connect your CK31 to your network using:
• serial communications.
• 802.11b/g radio communications.

Configuring Serial Communications

The CK31 has a serial port to transfer data to and receive data
from another device via RS-232 communications. You can also
insert the CK31 into a communications dock to transmit data to
and receive data from a host computer or PC using RS-232
communications. The serial adapter and the communications
dock are sold separately. For more information on accessories
and how to order them, see page 98.
