Chapter 2 — Configuring the CK31

To enable WPA-PSK security on your CK31 with Funk security
1 Make sure you have configured the communications and
radio parameters on your CK31.
2 Make sure you have selected Funk as your security choice.
3 Open Intermec Settings.
4 Choose Communications > 802.11 Radio > Security
Settings > Funk Security > Profile.
5 For Association, choose WPA and press Enter.
6 For Authentication, choose None and press Enter.
7 For Pre-Shared Key, enter the pre-shared key or the
passphrase.
The pre-shared key must be a value of 32 hex pairs preceded
by 0x for a total of 66 characters. The value must match the
key value on the access point. The passphrase must be from 8
to 63 characters. After you enter a passphrase, the CK31
internally converts it to a pre-shared key.
This value must match the passphrase on the authenticator.
8 Exit Intermec Settings.
Configuring WPA Security With Microsoft Security
Use these procedures to set WPA and WPA-PSK security on
your CK31 with Microsoft security.
To enable WPA security on your CK31 with Microsoft security
1 Make sure you have configured the communications and
radio parameters on your CK31.
2 Open Intermec Settings.
