Ethernet Subnet Mask Setup (Page 13)
When the IP Address is set, it is necessary to check the Ethernet IP Address Subnet mask on each
unit. The default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
To check and edit the Subnet Mask

Step through the Set Up menus to
the Ethernet S/Net Network setup
page shown opposite.

Turn the left DATA ENTRY control
knob and the unit will scan the
Network to obtain the Subnet
Mask.

Turn the left DATA ENTRY control
knob to highlight the area of the
Subnet Mask you wish to change.

Now turn the centre control knob to select a number from 0 to 255.

Press the HOME button to confirm the new Subnet Mask
It is important that all units and controlling PCs have the same Subnet
Note
Mask to function correctly. You may want to modify Subnet Masks
where one area of the network is required to be 'hidden' from another.
