1.5.2 Configuring the Protocol-Based VLAN

Note:
Protocol VLAN is only applicable to a hybrid port belonging to the VLAN to which a
protocol is to be issued.
Follow these steps to configure a protocol-based VLAN:
Enter system view
Enter VLAN view
Configure the protocol
based VLAN and
specify the protocol
template
Return to system view
Enter
Ethernet
interface
view or port
group view
Configure the port link
type as hybrid
Allow specified VLANs
to pass through the
current hybrid port
Configure the
association between the
hybrid port and the
protocol-based VLAN
