I. Configuration prerequisites
Create a VLAN before configuring the VLAN as a protocol-based VLAN.
II. Configuration procedure
Follow these steps to configure the protocol template for a VLAN:

Enter VLAN view
Configure the protocol
template for the VLAN
When configuring a protocol template for a protocol-based VLAN, use the at, ip or ipx
keyword to configure a standard template to match AppleTalk, IP, and IPX packets
respectively, and use the mode keyword to configure a user-defined template.
