Configuring the hot-swappable
BPL4 cage
This section includes instructions for removing and installing the
hot-swappable BPL4 cage as well as procedures on how to install a
hard disk into the cage's hard disk carrier.
Note: The BPL4 cage feature is only applicable to the Altos G700
model.
Removing the BPL4 cage
Important: Before detaching the BPL4 cage from the chassis,
make sure to first remove all hard disks from their carriers. For
instructions, refer to the succeeding section.

Detach the chassis panels and remove the air baffle.

Loosen the four thumbscrews that secure the cage to the chassis
(1).

Slightly pull out the cage from the chassis (2).
