11 Troubleshooting aids

Error
Various programmes will not be
displayed in the programme list.
Sound OK, no TV picture
Unit does not work
Remote control does not work
A square box is sometimes
displayed on the screen. The unit
sometimes switches over to freeze
image, no sound. screen
occasionally black with the insert
"no signal".
No reception when using an active
aerial
No picture, no sound,
LED does not light up
No reception of programs, which
were previously ok

Wrong programme list selected
Radio operation activated

Corrective
Select another prograamme list
(see Section 7.2.3.1)
Switch to TV operation
Switch off, pull out the mains plug
for approx. 5 seconds,
then switch the unit back on
afterwards
Replace batteries
Align antenna again
Switch the aerial feed on (Section
6.2.4)
Check the mains connection and
plug
Check all of the cable connections
Align antenna again
Check the aerial
Run a search
(see Section 8.3)
