Clearing paper misfeeds (main unit 1)
The following procedure describes how to clear paper misfeeds that have occurred in the ADF or inside the
upper right-side door.

7 WARNING
Precaution for electrical shock
High voltage is generated around the drum unit inside the right-side door of the machine.

In order to reduce the risk of electric shock, do not touch any part in this unit when clearing paper
misfeeds.
7 CAUTION
The area around the fusing unit is extremely hot.

Touching anything other than the indicated levers and dials may result in burns. If you get burnt,
immediately cool the skin under cold water, and then seek professional medical attention.
