From the touch panel, select the paper type.
– Press [↑] and [↓] until the desired paper type appears.
– If non-standard-size paper is loaded, specify the Paper Size setting.
– For details on specifying the paper size and paper type settings, refer to chapter 6, "Copy
paper/originals", of the User's Guide [Copy Operations].

Paper of the following types and amounts can be loaded into the bypass tray.
Plain paper (16 lb to 28 lb): Up to 150 sheets
Thin paper (13-1/16 lb to 15-3/16 lb): Up to 20 sheets
Thick paper (28-1/16 lb to 55-7/8 lb): Up to 20 sheets
Colored paper (16 lb to 28 lb): Up to 150 sheets
Letterhead (16 lb to 28 lb): Up to 150 sheets
Recycled paper: Up to 150 sheets
OHP transparency: 1 sheet
Label sheet: 1 sheet
Tracing paper: 1 sheet
Envelope: 10
Paper of the following sizes can be specified for the bypass tray.
Standard-sized paper: 11 × 17 w to 5-1/2 × 8-1/2 v
Non-standard-sized paper: Width: 3-5/8 inches to 11-11/16 inches; Length: 5-13/16 inches to 17
