Resetting the Navigation System

You will have the possibility of resetting your navigation system if it is no longer
reacting or working properly.
This option restarts the navigation system, without reinstallation being necessary. A
reset is often used in order to reorganize the memory. In doing so all programs that
are running are interrupted and the working memory is reinitialized.

Soft Reset

Perform the soft-reset as follows:
Press the tip of the stylus into the soft-reset switch opening or insert a pointy object
(e.g. a paper clip, which has been bent open) with slight pressure into the reset
opening.

Hard Reset

Attention!
A hard reset will delete all data in the temporary memory.
Perform the hard reset as follows:
1. Detach the external electricity supply.
2. Push the main switch to the OFF position initially and back to ON after
2 seconds.
The re-installation of the software on your synchronization computer will not be
necessary.
