Troubleshooting
Following sounds are normal
This is a malfunction.
The LCD panel shows the following display.
It is the failure of heat release fan motor.
(It cannot be seen from outside.)
Though cooling operation will be continued,
the cooling performance may deteriorate.
Although operation is accepted from the
control panel even when this error is
displayed, the error display will return
when it goes back to normal display.
These are not defects.
The following occur during the production process and are not production defects. Please be assured and continue using the product.
Cracks or flaw-like lines on a plastic part

Symptom
Refrigerator does not
cool or cool well
If the temperature does not drop even by taking the above measures, pull out the power plug once and reconnect it after 5 minutes to see if it works.
There is noticeable
noise
Sound of water flowing (also bubbling and spurting sounds)
This is the sound of refrigerant flowing.
(Sound may be loud at times)
Moaning machinery sound that lasts for about 20 ~ 30 seconds
This is the sound of the automatic ice maker releasing ice or
supplying water.
Contact the Sharp Service Center for repair.

Vegetable case
Is the Temperature control on the "Min" side?
Set it back to "Normal" to "Max" Leaving the freezer compartment with "Min"
setting may also cause the fridge compartment temperature to also become high.
In this case, set the fridge compartment setting to "Max"
Is the ambient temperature high?
Move refrigerator away from the heat source and reinstall in a place
away from direct sunlight and in a well-ventilated and cool location.
Is there space around the refrigerator?
Space is required for releasing heat.
Did you store hot food materials? Be sure to store food after cooling it down sufficiently.
Is there excessive storage of foods? Is the intake port/discharge ports blocked?
Space out foods.
Are the doors being frequently opened? Do not open the doors as much as possible.
Are doors half open from bags of food products, etc. being caught in between?
Is the refrigerator hitted by warm air directly in low outside temperature?
Is the refrigerator touching the wall?
Is the installation unstable and the refrigerator jolting?
Is it installed on an unstable floor?
Are there objects fallen around the refrigerator?
Is the foot cover off?
Is the sound-prevention sheet of the ice case removed?
The sound of ice dropping will be louder.
Check the following before calling for repair.
The door-open buzzer will not stop.
(When all doors are closed)
The buzzer sound can be temporarily stopped.
Press "Select" for more than
3 seconds while pressing
"Cancel" button.
(The buzzer will sound again after
about 2 days.)
There can be a flaw where more than one
cluster of plastic filled during part molding
meets together or on a die joint.
This is not a production fault and will not
lead up to a crack.
