Before following these procedures, adjust the input level and
open the Home Screen.
1. Press the RECORD [ ] button briefly to start ordinary

recording.
When recording starts, the RECORD [
lights and the display shows the elapsed and remaining
recording times.
Press and hold the RECORD [
record function and put the unit into recording standby.
The RECORD [
º ] button indicator blinks when in recording
standby. (See "Recording a few seconds before pushing the
record button (pre-recording)" on page 46.)
2. Press the [ ] button to stop recording.

To pause recording, press the RECORD [
