Feeding Originals Using the EDH
To save time, originals can be processed using the electronic document
handler (EDH). It allows you to load up to 100 originals simultaneously
(80 g/m²), which are then fed automatically one after the other.
Not all documents are suitable for the EDH. Use only suitable originals.
Unsuitable originals include:
G
carbon paper, paraffin paper and other very thin paper,
G
very thick paper,
G
paper with items adhered to it or pieces cut out of it,
G
translucent paper, OHP transparencies (overhead projector films),
G
folded, curled paper,
G
punched, stapled or bound paper.
➜
Manually place originals that are not suitable for the EDH onto the
original glass. For more information, see page 3-4.
