Manually adjusting Copy Density

Manually brighten or darken the exposure for the copier. There are nine
exposure levels and two user-defined settings to choose from.
Press the white arrow as many
times as required to make the
exposure lighter.

Press the [NORMAL] key to retain a
balanced exposure.

Press the black arrow as many
times as necessary to set the
exposure to darker.

What are the "User 1" and
"User 2" settings?
"User 1" and "User 2" are positions for storing user-defined
exposure levels. For more information, see chapter 7.
Press the white arrow key until the black bar is at the desired user-
defined setting
