PROGRAMMING THE SYSTEM
5.1
Introduction
5.1.1
The system is initially programmed by an Engineer during commissioning but changes to
programmed data may also be made by the Users. Programming may also be done using
the Remote Data Transfer Facility. All the programming Menus are listed here in a step by
step sequence (see Fig 3 - 1).
5.1.2
The general procedure is to enter a Passcode, select the Menu then enter data etc.. The
Engineer will enter the Menus at Menu 15 and Users at Menu 1. Menus may be stepped
through using the arrow keys and Menus 1 to 9 may be directly selected by entering the
Menu number. When stepping through the menus only those available to the particular User
will be displayed.
5.1.3
When the Engineer finishes using the system or does not press a keypad for the menu
time-out period the menu mode will time out , unless in a test mode, and the display will show
'Engineer on Site'. This will be cancelled when another passcode is entered.
5.1.4
When Users have entered a Passcode and do not press a keypad for the menu time-out
period the menu mode will time out, unless in a test mode, and the system will revert to
Unset.
5.1.5
