Preparing the System

1. Before you install the Windows NT operating system, make sure that you have
the following items:
AlphaServer 1000A Owner's Guide
Note: If your system was shipped with pre-installed
software, proceed to "Booting the Operating System"
in Chapter 4 "Basic Operation," and refer to the
software documentation to start up your operating
system for the first time.
