3.3.5 Pitch Offset and Direction

The label pitch is the distance from the leading edge (the edge that
comes out of the printer first) of a label and the leading edge of the
next label. The leading edge position of the label can be adjusted
relative to the print head +/- 49 mm in increments of 1 mm using
the following procedure. Once the position is set, it can be adjusted
+/- 3.75 mm using the PITCH potentiometer on the adjustment
panel.

The label pitch is the distance from the leading edge (the edge that
comes out of the printer first) of a label and the leading edge of the
next.
To change the setting perform the following steps:
1. Use the LINE key to step the underlined cursor to either the pos-
itive (+) or the negative (-) selection. A positive selection
increases the label pitch while a negative selection decreases
the label pitch.
2. Once the correct setting is underlined, press the FEED key to
accept the setting and advance to the PITCH OFFSET adjust-
ment.
3. Use the LINE key to step the counter to the desired position.
The display will increment one step for each time the LINE key
is pressed. If the LINE key is held mode. The reading will
advance to a setting of 49 mm after which it will automatically
wrap and start of "00" again. The pitch direction set in the pre-
vious step will be displayed in front of the OFFSET setting.
