7.1.2 Cleaning the Print Head using the Lapping Film
1. Switch off the power to the printer.
2. Place the lapping film between print head and platen with the
abrasive side face-up. Close the print head with the head latch.
3. Pull the cleaning film by hand slowly toward the front of the
printer.
4. Repeat steps 3 and 4 two or three times.
5. Finally, clean the print head with a print head cleaner as
described previously.
