The following checklist is a general list of required materials.
p Four corrosion-resistant fasteners sized #10 (M4.5) for mounting the
inverter
p Copper DC input cable as calculated in Table 3-1 on page 3–7
p Two 3/8 inch (M8) ring terminals sized for the cable diameter to
connect the DC cables to the DC cabling terminal
p Lugs and terminals to connect the DC cables that connect to the
battery, disconnect/battery selector switch and fuse holder(s)
p DC fuse(s) as calculated in "Calculating Fuse/Circuit Breaker Size"
on page 3–8 and fuse holder(s)
p Copper chassis ground cable as specified in Table 3-2 on page 3–7
p Ring terminal (appropriately sized to connect copper cable to chassis
ground stud) that meets the following specifications:
• #8 (M4) stud
• UL/CSA approved
• copper
• tin-plated
p Battery isolator (if connecting to a multiple-battery system)
p Disconnect/battery selector switch
p Optional: 2 × 15 A circuit breakers (XM 1000) or 2 × 20 A circuit
breakers (XM 1800), used for hard wiring the AC input and AC
output to an existing AC circuit.
p Optional: Alternator controller
p Optional: High-output alternator
