7.7.3 RECEIVING A GROUP CALL

1. When a Group Call is received, the HX850S will
produce a ringing alarm sound and the display
shows the Group name or Group MMSI.
2. Press any key to stop the alarm.
3. Press the [ CALL ( ENT ) MENU ] key to switch the radio
to the requested channel.
4. Monitor the channel for the person calling the Group for a message.
5. If you want to respond, monitor the channel to make sure it is clear, then
press the PTT switch and talk to the calling ship(s).
After a Group Call is received, the time the call was made and the ships
MMSI or vessels name will appear on the display.
