DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY
Clean the filtering element with air blast. Air must be blown
from inside to outside the cartridge at a distance of at least 15
cm from the paper.
Lightly and repeatedly tap the element on a hard surface to
eliminate all excess dirt.

Dry air cleaner for KD 400-440

Open air cleaner (fig. 4).
Unscrew the wing nut 1 (fig. 4a) and remove the filter element (fig. 5).
Check the rubber seal is undamaged A (fig. 5a)
Clean the filtering element with air blast.
If the filtering element has been already cleaned other times, or if it is
irreparably clogged, throw it away and replace .
Refit the air filter and make sure the seal A is properly inserted, then
tighten the wing nut 1.
Make sure that the filter is mounted in the correct way other-
wise dust and other impurities could ilfiltrate into the intake
ducts.

Prefilter for dry air filter

Remove and clean the pre-filter if clogged.
