Writing a new SMS message
1. Press Menu. The display will show Messages.
2. Press OK.

5. Write your message. Press the corresponding number button one or more
times for the initial letter (please refer to the table on page 12). To select:
Upper/Lower case press
Use ß to delete or make changes.

7. Enter the telephone number including area code, alternatively to retrieve the
number from the Phone book press

9. The display will indicate if the SMS message has been sent or has failed. If
no error message is shown, the message has been sent correctly.
Stored and failed SMS messages are saved in Outgoing.
Entering telephone number for SMS-Center/operator
On delivery, the number for the principal operator is pre-programmed. If you
use a different operator, this number should be changed.
SMS-Center 1 is for outgoing messages and SMS-Center 2 is for incoming
messages. If you have only received one number from your operator, this should
be stored as SMS-Center 1. The SMS-Center 3 setting is only for certain special
operators.
