Safety information

The cooker is designed for normal
Danish household use. If used in
any other way there is a risk of
accident.
Children
Keep children under supervision
when the cooker is in use.
Saucepans, cooking zones and oven
get very hot in use and will remain
hot for a period after switching off.
Never let children touch or play
with the controls or the oven door.
Check that the anti-tilt device and
the saucepan guard (extra
equipment) have been correctly
installed, and make sure the child
safety devices have been activated.
Use
Never use a cracked ceramic hob.
Spillages or cleaning water could
penetrate into voltage-bearing
parts. Switch off the power to the
cooker and contact Service.
Never put aluminium foil, paper,
plastic etc. on the ceramic hob. A
hot cooking zone could cause them
to burn or melt.
Never leave the stove unattended
while deep-frying food or melting
fat, paraffin wax or any other easily
flammable substance. In case of
fire, switch off all controls and turn
off any cooker hood.
Stifle the flames with a lid and
never use water.
Use only pots and pans designed
for ceramic cooking zones. Check
that bases are flat. Pans with an
uneven base give poor heat contact
and can easily rotate on the ceramic
surface.
Use only oven-proof dishes in the
oven.
Check that the cooker is switched
off when not in use.
All controls must point to zero.
Cleaning and maintenance
For hygiene and safety reasons,
cooking zones and the oven must
be kept clean. Particles of fat and
food remnants will fume when
heated and in the worst case could
cause a fire.
Make sure the electric cable is
never caught when the cooker is
moved for cleaning.
Switch off the cooker at the main
switch when replacing oven light
bulbs.
