When using the fan oven, two shelves
can be used simultaneously. The
shelves must be placed on rails 2 and 5
or 1 and 4. When using the fan oven,
cooking temperatures should be
reduced by 15-20% in comparison with
a conventional oven.
Combination oven
The combination oven combines a fan
oven and a grill. The fan circulates air
round the oven while the grill element
heats the air to the desired temperature
and maintains it there. When cooking
with the combination oven,
temperatures should be 15-20% lower
than with a conventional oven. Use
only one shelf when using the
combination oven.
Pizza/quiche programme
This programme is a combination of
fan oven and base heat. The ring
element and the base element provide
the heat. The base heat ensures a crisp
base for your pizza or quiche. The
circulating hot air cooks the filling and
gives it a golden colour. When baking
puff pastry tarts it is unnecessary to
pre-bake the tart base before adding the
filling.
The temperature is pre-set at 220˚C,
but this can be altered by turning
.
