Connecting USB storage me-
dia
You can connect a USB memory stick or
an external hard drive to your Traffic As-
sist.
Images, music or videos can then be ac-
cessed from these storage media.
Notes:
• Only external hard drives with a maxi-
mum power consumption of 500mA
may be operated. The hard drive can
only be operated when the Traffic As-
sist is powered via the mains adapter or
via the car power adapter.
• Please note that when using USB
memory sticks to play MP3 files or dis-
play images or videos, the battery ca-
pacity may be considerably reduced
(without external power supply).
The USB port for storage media is located
on the left side of the unit.
