11.3 VoIP

These settings are used to register your AMC with the AMCC, and also contain other
settings related to Wi-Fi connections. They should already be preconfigured. If this is
the case, do not change these settings!
The settings on Symbian are sorted in tabs. Navigate through them with the cursor.
Hidden Settings
From later versions on, the VoIP and FMC Settings are only available to ad-
ministrators. To enter these screens go to Options » Settings then enter #398.
On the Symbian 5
the green button followed by a quick sweep from the left to the right on the
touch screen. On certain devices with English keyboards (for example E55)
this sequence can not be used. The alternative sequence is 1298.

11.3.1 Registrar and Port Settings

The IP address and port that have to be entered here, as well as your user credentials,
should be given to you by your system administrator.

11.3.2 Username and Password

The Username is the username that has been registered on the AMCC. Usually it is
your corporate phone number (to make it unique in the system). The Password is the
one that belongs to your username in the AMCC.

11.3.3 HTTP(S) Port

If a port is configured here and if HTTP(S) has been activated on your AMCC, data con-
nections will be established automatically whenever necessary(for Callbacks, to access
the Corporate Contacts etc.).

11.3.4 Protocol

Choose HTTP or HTTPS. The port on the AMCs (11.3.3) and the AMCC has to be set
accordingly if non-default ports are to be used.
