7.2 Managing Access Points

Hidden Access Points
If you manually configure a hidden access point (AP), you have to use the
option Blacklist whenever it is out of reach. Since its hidden the AMC can't
check its availability and due to Symbian restrictions will always be marked
as "available" if you don't Blacklist it manually!
Note:
On the Symbian S60 3
of your present mobile subscription provider defined. Delete all non-relevant entries,
like old APs if you have changed your provider. It is also important to have the AP to
be used (like "T-Mobile Internet" in the second screenshot above) as first "SIG" entry.
It is this AP that should have the AP name defined, like "online.telia.se". Normally this
setting is auto-configured by the provider.
Note:
Whenever you restart the AMC your AP list will be synchronized automatically!
