Installing the Alternate Log Set
Installing the Logs:
The H38DF is supplied with a seven ceramic fibre log logset. Unpack
the logs and handle them very carefully.
Log Base
Step 1. Fireplace Base as shipped from Montigo.

Step 2. Place Log "A" as shown vertical againt the (2) formed Angles.
Center in Firebox (See Step 1.).

Step 3. Place Log "B" as shown. Press the Log onto the (2) formed
pins, shown. Center in Firebox).

Step 4. Place Log "C" as shown. Place the Log on the Left-hand
bracket (pointing inward toward the burners) and press onto the (2)
formed pins, shown.

Step 5. Place Log "D" as shown. Place the Log on the Right-hand
bracket (pointing inward toward the burners) and press onto the (2)
formed pins, shown.

Step 6. Place Log "E" as shown. Align the Log with the top end
cradled in the notch on the top of Log "A". Angle the Log flush with
outer end of Log "D".

Step 7. Completing the Log Set Installation; Place the final Log "F" as
shown. Align the Log with the top end cradled in the Left notch on the
top of Log "A". Angle the Log flush with outer end of Log "C".
Cautions:
If logs are not placed properly, excessive sooting
will result.
The surface of the logs will crack due to the heat from
the flames. This is a normal occurrence.
