Power menu
You can view or change various server power management settings on the Power menu in the Setup Utility
program. The Power menu contains various configuration submenus and items. For each submenu and
item, press Enter to show selectable options and select a desired option by using the up and down arrow
keys or type desired values from the keyboard. Some items are displayed on the menu only if the server
supports the corresponding features.
The Power menu contains the following items:
• After Power Loss: View and configure the system performance after ac power source is removed
and restored.
• Enhanced Power Saving Mode: Enable or disable Enhanced Power Saving Mode.
The Power menu contains the following submenus:
• Intelligent Cooling Engine (ICE): Enable the system to enter the lower acoustic level or better thermal
level.
• Automatic Power On: Enable or disable the Automatic Power On function.
Security menu
You can set passwords and configure the TPM function on the Security menu in the Setup Utility program.
For each menu item, press Enter to show selectable options and select a desired option by using the up and
down arrow keys or type desired values from the keyboard. Some items are displayed on the menu only if
the server supports the corresponding features.

The Security menu contains the following main items:
• Administrator Password: View the status of an administrator password.
• Power-On Password: View the status of a user password.
• Set Administrator Password: Set an administrator password to protect against unauthorized access to
your server. See "Using passwords" on page 49.
• Set Power-On Password: Set a user password to protect against unauthorized access to your server.
