2. If you are replacing a hot-swap redundant power supply, press the release tab
shown and carefully pull the handle
supply out of the chassis.
Note: Do not use too much strength. You can first carefully slide the redundant power supply a little bit
out to release it from the secured position. Then, completely slide it out of the chassis.

3. Touch the static-protective package that contains the new hot-swap redundant power supply to any
unpainted surface on the outside of the server. Then, remove the new hot-swap redundant power
supply from the package.
