Direct Transmission
Direct Transmission is used if
there is not enough residual
memory or when a large num-
ber of document pages are to
be sent, etc.
This mode is also useful if the
operator wishes to visually
confirm the actual transmission
of the document to the remote
party.
The documents will remain in
the ADF and be transmitted
one by one.
All transmissions will be sent
via Direct Transmission if the
Memory Transmission function
is set default off (See page
142).

Load the Document
This procedure will discuss Di-
rect Transmission when se-
lected as the default setting or
when Residual Memory has
been depleted.
Load the document face down
in the Document Support (see
page 82).
Adjust the resolution and con-
trast if desired (see pages 83
and 84).
