Before you start

Watching a DVD

Remember that when using the remote to control the
supplied HDD/DVD recorder, you should point the
remote towards the display unit, not the recorder itself.
ON
1 Switches on the system.
HDMI 1
DVR
2 Set the remote control to HDD/DVR mode.
Press DVR (HDMI 1) to set the remote control to HDD/
DVR control mode in order to operate the HDD/DVD
recorder.
TV

3 Switch on your TV.
Turn on your TV and make sure that it is set to the HDMI
video input.

4 Press to select DVD.

5 Press on the HDD/DVD recorder to open
CLOSE
the disc tray.
6 Load a disc.
Load a disc with the label side facing up, using the disc
tray guide to align the disc (if you're loading a double-
sided DVD disc, load it with the side you want to play
face-down).
7 Press to start playback.
Press to stop playback.
You can resume playback from the same
point by pressing . (Press  again to
cancel the resume function.)
Pauses playback, or restarts playback
when paused.
Press to start scanning. Press repeatedly
 
 
to increase the scanning speed.

Listening to a CD

ON
1 Switches on the system.

3 Press to select DVD.

4 Load a CD and start playback (page 104).

Watching a title recorded on the HDD

1 Switches on the system.

3 Switch on your TV.

Listening to the radio

ON
1 Switches on the system.
2 Set the remote control to FM/AM mode.

3 Tune to a station (page 35).
The LCD screen changes to that for the radio, and you
can then operate the desired component.
