product code is installed.
An ink cartridge that cannot be
used with this printer is installed.
Non-genuine ink cartridge is
installed.
Non-genuine ink cartridge is

Non-genuine ink cartridge is
installed. This may void EPSON's
warranty.
An error has occurred while
reading or writing data.
No ink cartridge is installed.
The front manual feed slot is
closed during operation.
The front manual feed slot is
open, but no paper is loaded.
The front manual feed slot is
opened during operation.
Remove the ink cartridge, and
install the ink cartridge with the
correct product code. See
"Consumable Products" on page
190.
Remove the ink cartridge, and
install an ink cartridge that can
be used with this printer. See
"Consumable Products" on page
190.
Replace the ink cartridge with a
genuine Epson ink cartridge. See
"Replacing Ink Cartridges" on
page 133 and "Consumable
Products" on page 190.
Select NO (press the
Menu/Right r button) to replace
the ink cartridge with a genuine
Epson ink cartridge. See
"Replacing Ink Cartridges" on
page 133. Otherwise, select YES
(press the Back/Left l button).
Select DECLINE (press the
Menu/Right r button) to replace
the ink cartridge with a genuine
Epson ink cartridge. Selecting
ACCEPT (press the Back/Left l
button) may void EPSON's
warranty.
Remove the ink cartridge and
reinstall it. If this message appears
after reinstalling the ink cartridge,
replace it. See "Replacing Ink
Cartridges" on page 133.
Install an ink cartridge.
Open the front manual feed slot
by pushing it. If necessary,
remove the paper.
Load a sheet of paper in the front
manual feed slot, and then press
the Paper Feed/Down d button.
Close the front manual feed slot
by pushing it.
