Adjusting the Manual Tilt Cable Assembly

 For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 13.
For operating the manual tilt option, refer to
Operating the Manual Tilt Option (TDX Spree
Only) on page 49.
1. Loosen the jam nut (counterclockwise) on the cable.
2. Turn the cable adjuster until the right release lever engages the tilt
mechanism properly.
3. Retighten the jam nut (clockwise) on the cable.
4. Tilt the wheelchair to any tilt position. Refer to Operating the
Manual Tilt Option (TDX Spree Only) on page 49. Make sure the
wheelchair holds the position.
If the wheelchair does not hold the position,

repeat STEPS 1-4 until the wheelchair is able to
hold the tilted position.

6.10 Adjusting Back or Headrest Upholstery

1. Rotate the spreader bar either:
• Counterclockwise (away from back upholstery) to loosen
back/headrest upholstery.
• Clockwise (towards back upholstery) to tighten back/headrest
upholstery.
